Become the best Child Therapist you can be!
Do you worry about getting a subpoena or feel uncertain about when you need to get both parent’s consent? What does it mean when there is an order in place and what are your obligations? Join over a hundred Australian Child Therapists who have already undertaken this specialist professional development course to deepen your understanding of common dilemmas such as consent, court orders, and policies whilst centring the child’s rights.
This 4-hour live webinar was developed specifically to support child therapists (child counsellors, arts and play Therapists) working in private practice to respond to the ethical issues common to working children (2-12 years) and their families.
The course hones clinical skills for any level practitioner including supervisors to learn about the ethical issues that must be considered when working with children and the intersection of the law.

What is included?
The course is interactive and experiential with real examples used from practice, small group discussions and a presentation to introduce concepts, explore ethical dilemmas, and build knowledge. Participants will receive handouts and exemplars of policies that can be easily adapted and taken straight into practice.
The zoom link will be provided via email in the week prior to the workshop. Please check you emails and spam folder. If you have not received it by August 28th, please contact us.
